Since moving from a small parcel in Chatham to an acre in North Buxton in 2019\, Mike has been documenting the naturalization process on his property via ReLeaf Chatham-Kent\, a Facebook group with over 1\,200 members. Through native tree and shrub auctions this group has raised money to benefit The Downie Wenjack Fund\, The Buxton Museum\, Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority and The Sydenham Field Naturalists.
